Finding Where the Heating Sequence Stops
A no-heat complaint does not automatically mean the heating section has failed. The thermostat or building-control call may not be reaching the unit, a safety circuit may be open, an electrical component may have failed, or the system may be producing heat without moving enough air into the occupied space.
Troubleshooting starts by identifying the equipment serving the affected area and following its operating sequence to the point where normal operation stops.
